Our Commitment

Pangea Research targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across the Platform. We are committed to making this website accessible to people with disabilities and to continuously improving usability. If you identify an accessibility issue, we will work to remediate it promptly.

Conformance Status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Conformance testing has been conducted using a combination of:
- Automated scanning with axe-core (integrated into our Playwright end-to-end test suite).
- Manual keyboard-navigation review on primary user flows (registration, login, lesson player, dashboard).
- Screen-reader spot-checks with VoiceOver on macOS.

Testing covers the marketing site (pangearesearch.io) and the Academy learning platform. Lab and Factory surfaces are pre-launch and are undergoing active remediation.

Current Accessibility Features

  • Keyboard-focus styling and skip-to-content navigation.
  • Semantic headings and structured page sections.
  • Responsive layouts for desktop and mobile.
  • Alt text support for meaningful images.
  • ARIA roles and labels on interactive components (dialogs, navigation, form controls).
  • Sufficient color contrast on primary text and interactive elements (4.5:1 minimum for normal text).

Known Limitations

The following limitations have been identified and are tracked for remediation before public launch:
- Some third-party embedded content (video players, external iframes) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Complex data visualizations in the Lab scenario player are receiving progressive ARIA enhancement.
- PDF certificates currently lack tagged structure; remediation is in progress.

If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please contact us — we treat all accessibility reports as high priority.

Remediation Timeline

Known accessibility issues are tracked in our internal issue tracker and prioritized for remediation on a rolling basis. Critical barriers (issues that prevent task completion) are targeted for resolution within 30 days of identification. Non-critical issues are addressed within 90 days. We review accessibility conformance quarterly and after each major release.

We will acknowledge your report within 5 business days and provide a resolution timeline.
